Original Kiddy Protection Shield
The original Kiddy protection shield offers the best protection in the event of a frontal impact with the use of the LATCH system (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children). The protection shield can be restrained with the LATCH system and a Top Tether anchour, or with vehicle lap and/or shoulder belt.
Side Impact Protection (SIP)
The head and shoulder areas in children are especially vulnerable since the head is still relatively heavy compared to the rest of the body. The SIP in the Kiddy World Plus protects your child’s head, mid-section and hip area from any side impact crashes that may occur.
Use in aircraft
In the opinion of experts, the simple airplane lap belt may already be a safety risk to small children in case of turbulence or an emergency landing. This child safety car seat has been approved by TÜV Rheinland and the Federal Aviation Authority for use in aircraft.
